The Tipping Point -- The Connector

| | Comments (0)
I've just read (listened to) The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell, and I think there's a strong argument that I am what he calls a connector. A connector is someone who acts as a social conduit between many people in many different subgroups. It's something I've always sort of known about myself, but it's interesting to see it as a formalized category in analysis. This post is a day late, and I started it yesterday, so I don't have a lot to say about it other than it is interesting to think of myself as a 'Kevin Bacon'.
