NSF grant for new network to replace the internet

David clar, one of the pioneers of the internet is heading an NSF grant think-tank to produce plans for a new, faster, better, more secure network to replace our overcrowded, spam-ridden internet. You gotta love big-brained people.

You GO DAVE! Make it work, and I will use it.

Wasn't this the goal of Internet2 and IPv6? What happened?

According to Clark, that's not good enough and still has much of the inherent problems/issues that the current internet has. It's a bit fast, but that's it.
