Dude, Roger Moore is the epitome of campy cheeze. Sean Connery was mostly good (a couple of campy bits, but mostly not so much), and Pierce Brosnan was actually (IMO) the best of the bunch, with the occasional wink-and-nod to the camp/cheeze heritage of the franchise.
With that in mind, I don't even think Broccoli would attempt to tell anyone that Bond is Great Film. It's entertainment. Pulp. And cool (except for the Dark Decade of Roger Moore, when it just sucked out loud, nonstop, in pulsating Disco neon light...)
Good luck with the rats. You need a good couple weeks at -40 to really get rid of them... ;-)
